Claudia Colecchia, a graduate in History from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, also holds qualifications in Archival, Paleography, and Diplomacy from the State Archive of Venice. With extensive studies in archival, photographic, and library sciences, she has worked at institutions such as Ca’ Foscari University, IUAV of Venice, and the International School of Advanced Studies of Trieste. Currently, she serves as the Head of the Photo Library and Library at the Civic Museums of History and Art in Trieste. In this role, she focuses on the preservation and promotion of photographic heritage, conducting guided tours, student lectures, curating exhibitions, and producing publications centered on photography. Claudia is also actively involved in organizing and participating in conferences and seminars, contributing to the Friuli Venezia Giulia Photo Library Network and serving as a board member of the Photography Network Association.
