Adam Pretty began his career as a news photographer at the Sydney Morning Herald in Australia in 1997 and then moved to Getty Images driven by his desire to specialize in sports photography.
Adam has worked in Sydney, Los Angeles, Beijing and Tokyo and currently lives in Munich.
Photographer of 11 Olympic Games, he has worked all over the world for magazines such as Time Magazine, Harpers Bazaar, Sports Illustrated, Marie Claire and many others.
In February 2024 he photographed the World Aquatics Championships in Doha, Qatar.
Adam is an award-winning international photographer. Among his global awards we find 1st place in the Sports Picture category of the World Press Photo, 1st place at the Sony World Photography Awards in the Professional Sports category and many others winning a total of 64 photography awards.
