Alice Zorzin

Alice Zorzin (b. 1996) is an Italian photographer and visual researcher. After completing a master’s degree in Art History, she turned her attention to photography, exploring the relationships between people, places and the histories they carry.

Her practice combines ethnographic research, archival material, personal stories and contemporary photography. She is particularly interested in mountain landscapes, rural communities and marginal territories, examining how cultural identity, memory, traditions and a sense of belonging are preserved and transformed.

Her work has been selected for SplitFormat and the Felix Schoeller Photo Award, exhibited in Italy and Croatia, and published by PhotoVogue, Artribune and Exibart. She has undertaken an artist residency organised by Trieste Photo Days and research commissions for the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policies and Fondazione LavoroPerlaPersona.

Alongside her photographic projects, Zorzin works as a researcher, curator and educator. Her exhibition contributions include Paesi Perduti at MART Rovereto and a project revisiting Flavio Faganello’s photographs of the Mòcheni Valley. In 2026, she teaches the history and techniques of photography at the University of Trieste’s Faculty of Architecture.
