Marina Dego is an Italian photographer and artist who lived for many years in London. After a career in fashion, she chose to change perspective and build a new path made of images and words, driven by a restless curiosity and an urgency to give voice to the stories she encounters.
With the series Animal Cosmo she took part in URBAN ANIMALS, the photographic project by Exhibit Around, presented at Trieste Photo Days. A work born from travels in South America, between the Amazon and Patagonia, in which animals are not simply photographic subjects but symbolic figures: spirits, messengers, presences charged with meaning in local indigenous cultures.
