A graduate of Novosibirsk State University, where she earned a PhD in Chemistry, Olga Vinogradova turned to photography in 2016. The camera became for her a tool of inward inquiry: identity, belonging, memory, the bond between a person and the places they inhabit. Since moving to Belgrade in 2023, these questions have taken on new urgency and new perspectives.
Through self-portraiture and the observation of everyday life, her work focuses on what usually goes unnoticed: inner states, traces of emotion, moments of self-recognition, caught through light, atmosphere and detail.
Olga Vinogradova tells us how Echoes of Nature came to life — a project on the connection between the human being and the natural world, entered in the 2025 call The Canticle of the Creatures.
