Special guests included Matt Black, Paolo Verzone, Denis Curti, Dario De Dominicis, and Andy Hall, who led talks and exchanges that affirmed the festival as an international point of reference.
This year stood out for the breadth of its exhibitions: 9 institutional venues, including the Museum of Oriental Art, Sala Selva at Palazzo Gopcevich, Sala Sbisà at Magazzino 26, Sala Veruda, ITIS, the Central Post Office, and the Municipal Art Gallery — hosted 17 main exhibitions, many still open to the public. Added to these were the exhibitions in 26 selected Fringe locations, the “off festival,” for a total of over 2,500 photographs on display.
The program was completed by a packed calendar of workshops, masterclasses, portfolio reviews, photowalks, and awards, offering visitors a comprehensive and immersive experience in contemporary photography.
The success was confirmed by strong public participation, with full exhibition spaces and enthusiastic attendance at events. With this twelfth edition, Trieste Photo Days renews its mission as a bridge between cultures and visions, uniting talent, innovation, and passion in a city that continues to act as a creative laboratory open to the world.
