Project selected by Tony Gentile as part of the Project Selection carried out in 2022. Selected from over 40 works received, Chinese Wispers tells the story of the great changes in Chinese megalopolises, in which the illusion of unbridled innovation collides with "Big Brother" that watches and records everything.

“Mariagrazia Beruffi with her photographs was able to let me enter the dreams and nightmares of Chinese society and her « complex mental state », as she herself says. The images of her, sometimes dreamlike and evanescent, sometimes dramatically real, transported me into a space-time journey, made up of well-constructed diptychs, in which I imagined hovering among the whispers of young Chinese chasing their future. ”
