“STRENGTHENING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHIC VISION”: PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP WITH MATT BLACK

To be defined | Trieste - Trieste, Italy Thursday, 23 October 2025 - Friday, 24 October 2025 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

This workshop is designed for photographers who wish to clarify their vision and purpose within their documentary work.

Join American photographer Matt Black (Magnum Photos Agency) for an intensive workshop designed to help you develop and refine your photographic storytelling skills. Intended both for those wishing to delve deeper into an existing project and for those wanting to start something new, Matt challenges you to think critically about your work and to consider your vision, your voice, and the role of your work in the world.

This workshop includes discussions and exchanges designed to challenge you to think carefully about your photography and how it can engage the public and promote a purpose. The intersection between personal and public, documentary versus interpretative, and historical versus contemporary are all topics for our group discussions, as we strive to bring our work from a private vision to a broader public role.

Schedule for the Workshop

Dates: Thursday, October 23rd and Friday, October 24th
