Maurizio Galimberti will award the Japanese photographer Tadashi Onishi, winner of the call for “TPD Book Award 2017” with the project “Lost in Shinjuku”. Galimberti will introduce the book, commenting with Denis Curti, who will offer the author a critical reading.

“Lost in Shinjuku”, which documents with a magnificent black and white the sense of emptiness in the routine of contemporary Tokyo, will be published as a book by dotART.

Tadashi Onishi was born in Tokyo in 1973. He photographs the city and Japanese urban life combined with social nature, to find common ground between street and documentary photography.
