Federica Berzioli works in visual communication and publishing, bringing together experience in design, photography, cultural events and editorial production. After studying communication, she worked in the marketing and events division of Kartell during the 1990s, overseeing catalogues and communication campaigns.
She subsequently joined the Contrasto photojournalism agency, where she produced exhibitions and corporate projects for companies, museums and international cultural institutions. This work established lasting connections between photography, publishing and the presentation of images to different audiences.
As editorial coordinator of IL FOTOGRAFO, part of Sprea Editori, she manages media partnerships with photography festivals and institutions and develops editorial projects for brands. Her role involves collaboration with established photographers, photojournalists and emerging authors.
She is particularly interested in the relationship between photography and writing, and in creating new editorial formats. Alongside her publishing work, she reviews portfolios, serves on national photography juries, and coordinates and moderates talks. At Trieste Photo Days 2026, she joins Stefano Mirabella in conversation for the presentation of TRAVEL.
