Giulia Natalia Comito (Ravenna, 1984) is a photographer who lives and works between Rome and Calabria. Active since 2010, she explores the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit, with particular attention to architecture, lived landscapes and the ways communities shape their surroundings.
Her practice brings together fine-art photography, documentary projects and research into place. She investigates the material and less tangible traces that define a landscape, approaching it as an intimate, personal dimension and as a form of human portraiture.
Alongside her artistic work, she collaborates with the publishing and entertainment sectors, producing book covers, portraits, reportage and production stills. She also works with architecture and design studios to document interiors and built spaces.
Her project A/R Acqua e Ruggine, winner of the Trieste Photo Days 2025 Portfolio Reviews, gathers fragments of landscape photographed through the window of a local train. Its delicate images turn travel into an exploration of memory and interior experience. The work features in the 2026 Scatti da Collezione exhibition at Passage Arte Contemporanea.
