During the last days of October, Trieste, the capital city of Coffee and Photography, will host two important international events: the 9th edition of the Photography festival Trieste Photo Days (28th-30th October) and the 10th edition of TriestEspresso Expo 2022 (27th-29th October) dedicated to coffee.
TriestEspresso Photo Days 2022 originates from the partnership of these two Italian excellences: a free open call aiming at the realization of a photographic exhibition dedicated to the world of coffee.
The associations dotART and Exhibit Around APS, which promote the Photography international festival Trieste Photo Days, launch this free open call dedicated to the world of Coffee for all photographers: TriestEspresso Photo Days 2022. The event also relies upon the collaboration of Aries Scarl of the Venezia Giulia Chamber of Commerce which promotes the TriestEspresso Expo.
The initiative’s purpose is to celebrate through photography the entire production chain of Coffee, starting from its cultivation to the harvest, and from its production to the cup.
Therefore, we are looking for photographers interested in taking part to the competition with single photographs which tell the culture of Coffee from a 360° perspective: production sequences, history, the Espresso-ritual in a coffee bar, small and big roasteries, coffee at home and more broadly the consumption of coffee worldwide.
The best photographs gathered through this free open call will be exhibited at the TriestEspresso Photo Days 2022 collective exhibition in the entrance hall on the ground floor of Palazzo della Borsa Vecchia. The prestigious palace is located on Piazza della Borsa 14, Trieste.
The exhibition takes place from 27th October to 4th November (1st and 3rd November closed) and is part of the schedule of Trieste Photo Days 2022 and TriestEspresso Expo 2022.
TriestEspresso Photo Days 2022 is realized by the associations dotART and Exhibit Around APS, together with the collaboration of Aries Scarl of the Venezia Giulia Chamber of Commerce.
