Paul Parillaud was born in Paris, France, in 1996 and at the age of eleven he moved to Italy with his family. Thanks to his father, he developed a strong interest in photography from an early age. During his five years of art studies (with a specialization in architecture) he get impressed by the work of war photographers which prompted him to study law at the University of Udine in Italy. After his studies, he did one year of civil service in Normandie, France, with the International Institute for Human Rights and Peace.
