Shortlisted authors for Project selection by Harry Gruyaert for Trieste Photo Days 2025

With great enthusiasm we announce the 36 finalists who have brilliantly passed the first phase of the selection for the Open Call “Project selection by Harry Gruyaert”. The Magnum photographer has identified these extraordinary projects among 400 submissions, and will now analyze them carefully in the coming days.

The final choice promises to be anything but simple: the shortlisted projects fascinated Gruyaert for their ability to stand out, for their originality and variety of photographic styles and genres. The absence of a specific theme for this year’s edition has given rise to an extraordinary wealth of different portfolios and projects, demonstrating the infinite creativity and imagination that lies behind a photographer’s lens.
