The Open Call for the third edition of the Deloitte Photo Grant is open until June 30, 2025. Promoted by Deloitte and Fondazione Deloitte, the grant is aimed at photographers under 35 and offers the opportunity to develop an original photographic project.
In line with the values of the Grant, Trieste Photo Days is pleased to support this initiative, which offers young talents opportunities for growth and visibility.
Contrast: the theme of the Deloitte Photo Grant 2025
The third edition of the Photo Grant, promoted by Deloitte and Fondazione Deloitte and curated by Denis Curti, aims to reflect on the moral disparities we experience in our daily lives. It seeks to narrate, through photography, the everyday challenges related to the protection of human rights and the fight against all forms of discrimination.
Participants are invited to tell the stories of the contrasts that define our era: social tensions, cultural conflicts, and the duality between the individual and the collective.
Photographers are called to shed light on often overlooked stories, helping create an open space for dialogue where images become tools for listening and reflecting on urgent contemporary issues. The goal is to give visibility to what often remains unseen and to foster open discussion on pressing matters.
Eligibility. The contest is open to all photographers under 35 who submit an original project idea related to the theme Contrast, described both in terms of content and production costs. Each participant must also submit a portfolio of 10 images, including suggestions related to the project and other works of their choice. The proposal may also be for a work in progress that requires financial support to be completed or expanded.
Application deadline: June 30, 2025
Prizes. The winner of the Open Call will receive a €20,000 grant, a mention in the exhibition scheduled for November 2025 at Triennale Milano, and a solo exhibition during the 2026 edition of the Grant.
The selection, to be completed by September 30, will be carried out by an international jury of renowned photography and art experts: Denis Curti (jury president), Guido Borsani (Fondazione Deloitte), Felix Hoffmann (curator, C/O Berlin), Mario Calabresi (journalist), Karin Rehn-Kaufmann (artistic director, Leica Galleries International), Davide Monteleone (photographer and winner of the 2024 Deloitte Photo Grant), Giovanna Calvenzi (photo editor), Erik Kessels (curator), Diane Dufour (co-director of LE BAL), and George Tatge (photographer).
