Sunday 31 October 2021, from 2pm to 5pm at the Magazzino delle Idee, appointment with the MasterClass Photography festivals, opportunities for authors, by Alberto Prina, founder of the Progetto Immagine Photographic Group and Coordinator of the Festival of Ethical Photography in Lodi. An unmissable opportunity to steal the secrets and teachings of a great professional in photography.

PRESENTATION
An in-depth seminar on the world of photography and photojournalism festivals and on the world of international competitions.
As artistic director of the Ethical Photography Festival and organizer of the World Report Award Alberto Prina will illustrate his vision on the world of contemporary photography by tracing the requirements that a photographic project should meet in order to be attractive to an international festival.
Alberto will retrace the selection criteria that are observed in the compilation of the final ranking of a major international competition such as the World Report Award, guidelines, rules and communication styles.
Space also for major international competitions. The ultimate goal of the meeting is to learn how to prepare a successful application, with attention to the smallest details, analyzing the requirements that each project should have to best tell a story of impact and be attractive to a festival of an international nature. We will move from the choice of the theme to the editing of a work, to then tackle the drafting of texts and captions. A short but complete path that will leave room for the participation and experiences of the photographers who want to follow it.
