These photos aren't a "best-of" compilation, they're the just some photos that stuck in my mind, because together they mean something to me.
They are about connecting for a fleeting moment with a passing stranger, one amongst many in a big city.
One passing stranger like me.
It speaks about my desire to connect, more than theirs.
It also speaks about my difficulty in connecting.
I guess if I was a regular guy I would try to talk to people in the usual ways. But I'm not good at it.
So I try to connect through the camera.
Sometimes the look they give me is enough to feel good.
Sometimes the look is not friendly. But it's good anyway.
