The participants’ productions of the workshop will be the focus of attention. During the two days, the composition, rhythm, sequences, counterpoints of each sequence will be studied. We will try to identify a narrative score that should also work beyond the set of individual photographs and we will analyze the images of the reportage’s reference authors. We will talk about the truth and the mystery in photography, which can be enlightened perhaps only through ourselves. Participants will be strongly encouraged to investigate their own perception and sensibility and to search within it for possible developments. We will discuss how to work on reality without transforming it, without affecting it and without lying. But also of the evolution of reportage in the history of the image, journalistic and documentary investigation; of its nuances and transformations, languages.
