Lucia Krasovec-Lucas, an architect with a PhD and post-PhD in building heritage design and survey, is a professor at the Politecnico di Milano, School of Architecture and Society. Her multifaceted career spans architecture, research, art, and design. She has extensive experience in the analysis, redefinition, and enhancement of urban spaces, architecture, and landscapes, acting as a consultant for both public administrations and national and international research centers.
Her approach to spatial issues emphasizes small-scale projects that foster good practices and actively engage local inhabitants in decision-making processes. For Lucia, architecture, art, and design must be part of an interconnected, complex vision that restores the core principles of human living.
In 2012, she co-founded and became President of the Trieste chapter of A.I.D.I.A. (Italian Association of Women Engineers and Architects), focusing on enhancing the role of women in the professional and cultural landscape.
