Martin Miklas is a Lisbon-based photographer from Bratislava, Slovakia, specializing in conceptual documentary and fine art. His work focuses on visual storytelling, with a primary emphasis on the climate and biodiversity crises, particularly their impact on oceans and the socio-economic and ecological effects on the global fishing industry. As an alumnus of the 2022-23 VII Photo Masterclass and a participant in The Raw Society’s Visual Storytelling Masterclass, Martin is also a proud father of two and a skilled artist known for capturing the profound depth of dark tones in his work.
