Matteo Trevisan is a documentary photographer and videomaker represented by the Contrasto agency, splitting his time between Rome and his hometown of Gorizia. A passionate mountaineer born in the border region between Italy and Slovenia, Trevisan focuses his projects on social issues, particularly environmental and anthropological themes. His work has been featured in prestigious publications, including *The New York Times*, *The Guardian*, *The Wall Street Journal*, *Politico*, *Internazionale*, *National Geographic Italia*, and *Espresso*. Currently, he is engaged in a personal project about the Friuli Venezia Giulia region and a long-term environmental study in the Central Balkans. Since 2020, he has collaborated with various associations, NGOs, and prominent institutions such as the European Climate Foundation, Greenpeace, UNESCO, and “On the Trail of the Glaciers.”
