Angelo Cucchetto presents the ninth issue of Cities, the photographic magazine he edited.
In this issue, in addition to the four stories by foreign authors and the four by Italian authors, we have two auteur focuses with interviews and a section with four stories awarded at the Travel Tales Award, the travel photography award launched by Starring in February (www .traveltalesaward.com).
The magazine opens as usual with the Worldwide section, dedicated to foreign authors and edited by Attilio Lauria with texts by Giovanni Ruggiero, Debora Valentini, Susanna Bertoni and Antonio Desideri. Four stories that make up that section, stories of authors who represent the whole world of modern international urban photography: Jeffrey Stockbridge, Joseph Ford, Liu Tao, Maude Bardet.
The Italians section follows, dedicated to Italian authors and edited by Vanni Pandolfi also in the texts, which has selected four stories by Italian authors with strong personalities: Umberto Verdoliva, Gabriele Lopez, Gabriele Croppi and Lorenzo Pesce.
Then the Focus Autori section, curated by Sonia Pampuri, with two interviews with portofolio to Fabio Moscatelli and Tadashi Onishi. Ample space is dedicated to each author, with images of the different works of her and Sonia helps us to get to know them better through their works.
Finally, the special Travel Tales section curated by Simona Ottolenghi with four stories awarded at the Travel Tales Award by Nadia Cianelli, Mario Cucchi, Daniela Giannangeli and Fabio Magara.
This issue was also put together in its final photographic choices by me and our photo editor Graziano Perotti, who also signs the cover of the magazine, with a splendid emblematic and iconic image.
