The author and Benedetta Donato in a conversation with Enrico Scaglia.
In an age of continuous distribution and exchange of images, everyone has wondered what is allowed and what is forbidden to photograph, what is allowed to publish on social networks, on a website, in a book and for which photographs we must be authorized.
The Survival Manual for Photographers by Federico Montaldo helps you to understand what and how you can (or cannot) freely photograph, what are the rules on photographic portraiture, what kind of use you can legitimately make of it, what are your rights and what are the obligations to be respected, and how it is recommended to equip yourself to avoid unpleasant surprises.
Lawyer and photographer (and vice versa).
As a lawyer he deals with civil and commercial law.
As a photographer he prefers themes related to reportage with a social background, to which he combines activities of curator of exhibitions and projects related to photography and the promotion of photographic culture.
He is a member of the Cultural Association 36th frame.
He lives and works in Genoa.
