Waiting for the next Trieste Photo Days, which we trust will be held regularly at the end of October, we are launching a series of online talks with the photographers we hosted at the festival in recent years.
The TDP Digital Talks format will broadcast live every Wednesday at 18.00 CET on the Trieste Photo Days Facebook page, starting on Wednesday 29 April 2020.
Angelo Cucchetto, art director of the festival, will talk with the guests. Authors will present and comment on a selection of their works, transforming the talks into real virtual photographic exhibitions.
The first episodes will be focused on Italian authors (therefore the talks will be in Italian only), but we are already working to have important foreign authors among the guests.
First appointment on Wednesday 29 April 2020 at 18.00 CET with Giorgio Galimberti and Mariagrazia Beruffi, two of the most interesting Italian authors in recent years for stylistic coherence and semantic precision of their language. Together with them, in addition to Angelo Cucchetto, Fulvio Merlak, president of the Fincantieri-Wärtsilä photographic club. Merlak knows the two guests very well: he promoted an exhibition of Galimberti in the last Trieste Photo Days in 2019 and awarded Mariagrazia Beruffi at the first TPD Portfolio in 2018.
TDP Digital Talks will keep photography enthusiasts company also on the dotART YouTube channel, where it will be possible to watch it after the live broadcast.
