Brutalist: Monte Grisa
A series of abstract architectural studies based on instinctive, contemplative and explorative responses to spaces both positive and negative in dimensions.
Veering away from contextual and classical viewpoints of architecture, the project instead evolves from visual play in details.
Lines and contours merge and separate as distances are skewed and distilled to flat, graphical landscapes.
Through this lengthy contemplation of the environment and structure the series of images aims to give a new, personal depiction of the ageing architecture and offer new perspectives of these historically important buildings.

Urban Structures #4, Roma
Rome is a city where multiple fluxes converge and mingle, producing a multi-layering of cultural, architectural and social dimensions.
I used the camera based on how my memory got impregnated by the locations I visited.
I photographed these places in a way to render the impression of the whole place versus only one part of it, that a photograph usually represents.
Urban Structures #4, Roma is the result of 2 months residency spent at La Fondazione per l'Arte i Rome end 2017.
