Inauguration of the exhibition “WeHA, fragments from New England” by Daniele Garofalo, project selected by Maurizio Garofalo in the last edition of Trieste Photo Days.
“It’s hard to tell the places, people, colors and atmospheres of New England” writes the author about his project. “Whether with simple words, or with the quick shots of a camera. New England is a motel of small wooden houses glazed by carpets consumed along the “highway”. New England is the scent of scrambled eggs frying on a coffee table plate along with a long, black cup of coffee. New England is the eternal dance of electric cables suspended on poles that line up along the roadside. New England is also the scent of red cedar that mixes with that of the ocean. Finally, New England is a lighthouse that drives fishing boats in the night. During my wandering I found all this and much more.”
