Trieste Photo Days 2018 launches the first TPD Portfolio, a free photographic selection based on Portfolio readings open to all.
Available to all interested photographers a team of portfolio readers composed of:
- Orietta Bay of Genoa (Photography Critics, Lecturer of Photography and Photographer)
- Tullio Fragiacomo of Trieste (Photography Critic and Lecturer of Photography)
- Monica Mazzolini from Trieste, but born in Genoa (Historian of Photography)
- Fulvio Merlak of Trieste (Professor of Photography and Photography Exhibition Curator)
The Portfolio reading sessions will be held at the Library located above Sala Guglielmo (Jubilee Hall, 2nd floor), entrance at Riva Tre Novembre 7. The timetable for reading the Portfolios is the following:
- Saturday 27th October 2018 - from 10.00am to 1.00pm and from 3.00pm to 5.00pm
- Sunday 28th October 2018 - from 10.00am to 1.00pm / award ceremony at 5.30pm
The author of the most appreciated Portfolio will receive a free complimentary photographic book and will have the opportunity to exhibit his project during the 2019 edition of Trieste Photo Days (the Organization will take care of printing the images).The Authors of the two Portfolios awarded the second place ex aequo will receive a photographic book each.
To register, simply read the regulations and complete the registration form. There is time to register until October 24th, 2018. The organization will communicate to each member your reading time.
