Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 October 2018 Japanese photographers Tatsuo Suzuki and Tadashi Onishi, guests of Italian festival Trieste Photo Days for the VoidTokyo exhibition, will hold an exclusive photographic workshop / exeperience.
It will be a unique and unmissable opportunity to spend a weekend with two great artists to closely observe their “oriental” method of work, very different from our approach to photography: a method based on hard work, obsession with detail and creativity.
The workshop / experience will take place at Photoscaglia (former Lux Art Gallery – Via De Rittmeyer, 7/A – Trieste) and on the streets of Trieste city center.
Tatsuo Suzuki and Tadashi Onishi’s photos will also be protagonists of one of the festival’s most important exhibitions: VoidTokyo, at the Oriental Art Museum of “Palazzo Leo”, promoted by Municipality of Trieste together with dotART. The exhibition, which tells the contemporary Tokyo in a dark black and white that refers to the Japanese school of Eikoh Hosoe, will include in addition to the works of Suzuki and Onishi also a selection of photos of the other nine members of the project.
